Makella Ama works in Art Curation and Public Programming for exhibitions, workshops and film festivals. She can usually be found in an archive or watching the Black Stars with friends. Her Accra is a sonic one: side-street TVs, community, & the noise of a city that lives loud.

Luana Viegas is a Photographer and Creative Director who runs a boutique agency between Brazil, France and the UK. But in her own city she treats Rio the way it asks to be treated: outdoors, in the street, nothing planned. A Flamengo fan by inheritance (“no choice whatsoever”). Rio, she says, is fever – in the best way.

Kei Chisaka is a doctor in Tokyo who plays 11-a-side before work and futsal at night. His Tokyo is mapped entirely by football; nearly every place he loves is run by a teammate or a fellow player. To him, it’s the city where it all comes together.

Nkhensani Mkhari is an Art Curator and Cultural Worker who knows Cape Town beyond the postcard version; the communities shaping it, the artists giving it texture, the spaces where culture still feels alive. He’s followed Mamelodi Sundowns since he was a kid, skipping school to watch them train. He calls his Cape Town “Little Monaco.”

Jean Féline (JF) is an Artist who runs the project space Féria; Anaïs Brémond (AB) is a Documentary Filmmaker. They’ve made their lives in Marseille, bars run by friends, evenings outdoors, a city where, as they put it, “our friends became family.”

Andrea Ibarra is a football photographer in Mexico City who regularly goes to matches and spends the rest of her time in coffee shops, record stores, bookshops and the ‘tianguis’ flea markets. She is a Club América fan, a love inherited from her father. Mexico City, in her words, “feels like getting lost on purpose.”
